This partly embroidered tablecloth (52" or 132 cm square) was given
to me. I had fun tatting the edging, but now the embroidery needs
to be done

WOW! That edging looks great. That looks like it took a while. What size thread did you use? I hope you show us again when the embroidery is done with some close-ups, too!
It is 20 thread Milward, which I
don't really like, inherited from
my late mother's (crochet) stash.
It did take a while, but it is a
simple edge I designed and is good
for working on at tatting meetings.
Oh so very pretty!
The edging is very nice but when you finish the embroidery you are going to have a gorgeous tablecloth. I hope you post pictures.
Oh, how beautiful! I've just begun experimenting with edgings this year... they're fun to do! Please post pictures with the embroidery finished... I'm sure your tablecloth will be gorgeous!
