I have had fun trying out the new Lizbeth I added to my stash, and I also have some glorious HDT from Lady Shuttlemaker. So much pretty thread and so little time! I hear Lizbeth is to be available in 40! Oh, my bulging stash!
I got the pattern in 2005 from www.celtess.net, but I can't make the link work now. The Amusement Doiley has been on some of the tatting group newsletters, and it may be in their files. I would scan it to you if you wish - my email is lilduck#bigpond.com (replace # with @) with your addy.
I am not an expert in converting patterns to tatting in one pass, but I think there needs to be the possibility of using split rings and split chains, and so far as I can see, this pattern does not have that. I cut and hid ends on each row.

This is very pretty!
Oh my, this is a pretty mat/doily. I would like to know if it can be tatted all in one pass, or if it is necessary to cut and tie between the rounds?
